Helene and her family (husband Kevin, and two kids - Willa and Nathan) moved to Port Washington in the summer of 2016 and joined TBI immediately. Her kids have gone through TBI preschool and will both be in the religious school next year. Soon after she joined TBI, Helene recruited a group of families to start a Shabbat lunch chavurah, which was going strong until March 2020 and hopes to start up again soon. She realized there were more families who might want to get together, so she started two more chavurah groups as well. Helene is currently Membership VP, with a goal of increasing TBI's membership to take advantage of all of the young families moving to Port and looking for connection right now.
