Religious School

Religious School Open House | September 11, 2022 | 3:30-6:00 pm | Meet at the front entrance

Join us at our upcoming open house to learn about what makes our curriculum and b'mitzvah preparation unique! Meet our director of Education and Engagement, Anya Morgulis.  Hear from parents directly why they chose TBI.  Get a tour of the building.  Then stay for our BBQ and enjoy some hamburgers and hot dogs, chat with the Rabbi, and meet some of our engaged Religious School families and TBI members!

TBI's Religious School focuses on building a strong sense of Jewish values and responsibility by blending content with creativity to make education substantive and fun. Our Religious School teaching philosophy is rooted in giving your children an appreciation of their Jewish heritage as well as a commitment to the traditions and practices of Judaism. Students learn to read Hebrew, celebrate the Jewish holidays, and prepare for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah with a curriculum infused with art, music, celebration, food, and interactive programs. Learning by doing is emphasized, whether it is celebrating Shabbat or exploring the concept of Tikkun Olam through mitzvah projects.  Our hope is that your child begins their Jewish education in our Shorashim (kindergarten ) program and continues through Confirmation.
