College Connection
College Connection
Even though your son or daughter is away at college, Temple Beth Israel stays connected to them. We encourage parents to invite their children home for the High Holidays and offer free tickets for our college students to attend services. We mail our monthly bulletin, TBI Tablet, to all our college kids. Our Sisterhood and parent volunteers send packages to our college students twice a year, for Hanukkah and Purim, to remind them of their Jewish culture and to offer a treat during their hectic midterm and final schedules.
We also stay connected to our college students through:
- Email messages from our clergy
- A special Shabbat to honor and bless our high school graduates
- Inform our students about unique study abroad or internship/job opportunities
