Thank you for your interest in learning more about membership at TBI!
At Temple Beth Israel our community operates with a Standard Dues Structure. That means that our categories and dues amounts are distributed equitably among the community. We believe there should never be a barrier to access pastoral care, Religious School, services, or adult learning. For that reason, if the contribution amount does not work for your household, we will do our best to work with you to find a path to membership.
2024 Membership Promotions
We're so pleased to announce our 2024 promotional rates. These are available to households who have no membership history with TBI and meet the eligibility requirements below.

* Tuition discounts will not be applied to membership promotions. Households where eldest child is in Preschool are eligible.
** Promotion is determined by the eldest enrolled learner in the household.
*** The new member promotional rate of $900 applies through December 31, 2024.
2024-2025 Membership Dues
Membership includes:
- Access to life cycle events including Bar/Bat Mitzvah, baby naming/ brit milah, weddings, funerals, and pastoral care.
- High Holidays tickets for adult household members and children ages 26 and under .
- Ability to purchase guest tickets to High Holiday services.
- Access to Religious School registration.
- Discounts on TBI events and programs.
- TBI engagement, adult learning, and chaverot (friend) groups.

Glossary
Two Adult Household: Two or more individuals living in a partnered relationship. Adult couple membership includes children 26 years and under.
One Adult Household: One adult living alone or a single-parent with children 26 years and under.
Guardian: Annual invitational gathering with clergy + memberships to Sisterhood and Men's Club.
Associate: New members or members who moved out of the immediate area, but still want to belong. Must live 20+ miles outside of Port Washington. This category does not receive tickets to High Holiday services.
Promotions: Available to any adult, senior single or couple new to TBI membership and in their first full year of membership, available until Dec 31, 2024.
Security Fee: $350 - Enables on-site, armed security during programs, services, and when children are present in the building.
Building Fund: Begins in your second year of membership; $2,000 payable over 5 years. Enables the maintenance and sustainability of our campus and sanctuary.
Tuition Discounts: Preschool tuition discount is available when a non-promotion rate is applied.
