Lisa Palmer

Lisa Menasse-Palmer and her husband, Lane Palmer, moved to Port Washington in 1997 and enrolled
their then four-year-old daughter in the then TBI Nursery School sight unseen. They were immediately
embraced by the warm and welcoming community and joined TBI the next year. All three of their
children attended various configurations of TBI’s Preschool, Religious School and Hebrew High School
and became B’nai Mitzvah at TBI. Lisa served as Vice President of Education of the Preschool, Religious
School and Hebrew High School (yes, it really was all under one committee) from 2006-2013 and Lane
also served on the Board from 2014-2020.
While attending High Holiday services post-pandemic, Lisa realized that there were so many new faces
in the sanctuary that she did not know. With a 25 year connection to TBI and the treasured friendships
made over the years, Lisa returns to the Board and looks forward to meeting everyone!
