Hello!
We joined TBI I think in 1996 when my oldest daughter was 3 and my second daughter was 2 for the nursery school. At the time we lived in Manhasset, and being raised as a conservative Jew in Great Neck I was seeking a synagogue for my new Jewish home.
My husband is Chinese, and converted to Judaism, and we were looking for a shul that would accept our family. From the day we walked into the old lobby, we all were welcomed with open arms. We now have 4 kids, who all went through nursery school, Hebrew school (3 days a week), bar/bat mitzvah and Hebrew high school here at TBI.
I am a RN by trade, but have been in the world of Managed Care for over 30 years, and am currently working for a specialty pharmacy company writing contracts for the east side of America. My husband is an Ophthalmologist, and I am also involved in the sustainability of our practice. I was previously on the Executive board, and board, and
am honored to have been asked to join again. I look forward to supporting David Cooper, who I have known since High School!

Giving To Temple Beth Israel
Giving tzedakah (financial support) to Temple Beth Israel enables our community to come together to pray, celebrate, socialize, and learn. In addition, your tzedakah provides teachers for our children’s Jewish education, supports adult programs, assists our holy work of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), organizes members to visit the sick and comfort mourners, and much more.
