  • Pre-school, elementary school and young adult literature
  • Resources for Bar and Bat Mitzvah candidates
  • Resources for Divrei Torah
  • Fiction and non-fiction for adults, with Jewish content and/or by Jewish authors
  • Judaic reference books

The notable authors who have spoken at TBI include Sam Friedman, Lael Lebovitz, Dara Horn, Jonathan Rosen, Lorraine Abramson and Johanna Hurwitz. Library programming has included photo-journalist, author and humanitarian Ruth Gruber; an exploration of the perils and pleasures of venturing beyond the ultra-orthodox world with Lani Santo of Footsteps; “Beyond Tourism”, an alternative way of visiting Israel, and a first-person view of Jewish life in sixteenth-century Amsterdam through the eyes of Dona Gracia de Nasi, one of the wealthiest business women of that time, as portrayed by our own Helena Eilenberg.

You can help our library grow. Kindly make contributions of $10 or more to the Library Fund.  Donations will be acknowledged in the TBI Tablet and can be made “in honor of” or “in memory of.”
